Safe Harbor Homes and Services nonprofit website homepage designed by Liset Alanis Designs

✦ The goal ✦

A website that feels like home.

Safe Harbor has provided Christ-centered homes since 2003. They needed a website that shows families what daily life looks like, explains the growing need for homes and makes it easy for supporters to give.

✦ What I did ✦

  • Designed a warm, welcoming site built around real photos of residents' daily life
  • Put Donate in the header and Give Hope in the hero so supporters can give in a click
  • Turned the need into easy-to-read numbers, like the 270,000+ adults waiting for a permanent home
  • Laid out Life at Safe Harbor and the vision for 10 homes by 2030 so families and donors know what they support

✦ The design ✦

A look at the homepage

A welcoming first impression

A video hero opens with "More than a home. A lifelong family." so families feel the warmth of Safe Harbor before they read a word.

Giving made easy

Donate sits in the header on every page, and Give Hope is one of the first buttons visitors see.

Real faces, real stories

Photos of residents and staff, plus quotes from the Safe Harbor family, show the heart behind the mission.

The need, at a glance

A simple stats bar right under the hero explains why more homes matter.

Life at Safe Harbor, laid out

Daily life is broken into simple pieces: personalized care, farm and animal time, worship and Bible study, outings, meals and wellness, plus medical support.

A vision donors can see

One home serving adults today and 10 homes envisioned by 2030, shown as big, simple numbers so supporters understand what their gift builds.

Two clear paths

Families looking for a home go to Request Information. Supporters go to Support Safe Harbor. Each visitor knows exactly where to click.
