My commitment
I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how I build every website, including my own.
The standard I follow
I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the widely used guidelines for making websites accessible to people with disabilities.
What I do
- Clear page structure with proper headings
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Color contrast that keeps text readable
- Links, buttons and forms that work with a keyboard
- Form fields with clear labels
- Readable font sizes and layouts that work on any screen
Known limitations
Some content comes from other services, like my Instagram feed and embedded videos. I can't fully control how accessible that content is, but I choose tools carefully and look for alternatives when I find problems.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. I review this website regularly and fix issues as I find them.
